KPG provided visioning and construction documents for this roadway which is one of the last naturally forested corridors in Snohomish County forming a natural gateway into the City of Mill Creek. The initial phase of the project was to develop conceptual plans for the Dumas Road Corridor showing the preferred alternatives and cost estimates. Close coordination with permitting authorities, franchise utilities, Snohomish County and WSDOT was required. The project included providing field surveys and base maps, tree inventory and preliminary layouts. The final design included the preparation of contract documents and construction cost estimates for adding bike lanes, pedestrian facilities, curb and gutter, storm drainage system, lighting, landscaping and new channelization.
