KPG provided the design and construction of the Enatai / Mercer Slough Trail and Gateway, a major link in the Mountains to Sound Trail System connecting Seattle to the Cascades. The project links the I-5 trail from Mercer Island to the Mercer Slough Trail. It is the primary bicycle / trail entrance to the City of Bellevue from the west, and Bellevue's most used trail. KPG provided conceptual design and construction drawings for this 12-ft wide trail including the gateway treatment, landscaping and artwork, information kiosk, monument sign and directional signage with a seating wall, off-street parking, and litter receptacles. The trail conforms to WSDOT standards for a Class I bikeway.
