KPG provided urban design services to the City of Shoreline Planning and Development Services for the Gateways Master Plan. The project consists of identifying gateway locations, City identity, determining appropriate scale, and providing design concepts for each location. A key component of this project is identifying the City's theme and character to be represented by the gateways. Within this segment of the project, a palette of design vernacular is developed that can be utilized throughout the City, thus creating unification and a strong sense of the City's character.
