KPG provided design services for this $4M project considered to be the “Main Street” in the North City neighborhood of Shoreline.  The project called for creating a pedestrian friendly mixed use district.  The entire roadway cross-section was reconstructed from back of sidewalk, including utility undergrounding.  Pedestrian amenities included wider sidewalks, curb bulbs with crosswalks, benches, pedestrian lighting, trees, planters with custom railings, district identity, and gateway signs.  KPG prepared all graphics and assisted with the public involvement process.
