KPG provided visioning, preliminary engineering, and final plans for urban design, landscape architecture and architecture for the downtown Redmond Transit Center.  This project was a joint effort between the City of Redmond, King County Metro and Sound Transit.  The project includes five on-street and one off-street transit stops and 6 layover spaces.  It also includes a driver comfort station, 11 custom transit shelters and extensive pedestrian amenities in a series of wide sidewalks and plazas.  KPG prepared all graphics and facilitated the technical and city review process, that resulted in frontage improvements to The Edge Skate Park and set the stage for the Metro Parking Structure and future private Transit-Oriented Development.
