KPG provided design services for this gateway project on the City’s “Main Street”.  The gateway arch welcomes visitors into downtown Burien, spanning the roadway.  As part of the larger street improvement project, it included corridor identity signs and brick columns, which match information kiosks and decorative planter railings. Additional pedestrian amenities included wider sidewalks, curb bulbs with crosswalks, benches, pedestrian lighting, trees, planters, and public art.
