Coal Creek Parkway

KPG provided urban design services to CH2MHill (Prime Consultant and Designer), to the City of Newcastle for Coal Creek Parkway improvements  - phases 2 and 3.  KPG provided visioning and design development for urban design, and provided landscape architecture planting and irrigation design for this three mile long roadway project.  KPG assisted CH2MHill on aesthetics related to wall design, bridge design and other streetscape amenities.  

Coal Creek Parkway won the APWA Project of the Year Award (WA Chapter) 2010 for the Transportation Category $25 to $75 million!
