Dumas Road

KPG provided visioning and final design for this roadway, which is one of the last naturally forested corridors in Snohomish County. The initial phase of the project was to develop conceptual plans for the Dumas Road Corridor showing the preferred alternatives and cost estimates. Close coordination with permitting authorities, franchise utilities, Snohomish County and WSDOT was required. The final design included the preparation of contract documents and construction cost estimates for adding bike lanes, pedestrian facilities, curb and gutter, storm drainage system, lighting, landscaping and new channelization.

Dumas Road won the APWA Project of the Year award (WA Chapter) for 2006!
