LEED

KPG has been involved in many projects that have utilized LEED green building certification program. The built environment is providing innovative opportunities for KPG and our clients to respond the global climate change. KPG is helping the clients to determine economical alternatives to non-sustainable and expensive sources of energy. Our projects illustrate sustainable principles including harvesting rainwater for re-use, solar panels,  natural daylighting/ventilation, restoring natural habitiat and public outreach to the community. Some projects that KPG has been a substantial component of the LEED program include King County-Shoreline Recycling and Transfer Station, Bow Lake Recycling and Transfer Station and South Regional Road Maintenance Facility. WSDOT-AWV Tunnel Portal Buildings Programming, City of Tacoma-Landfill Administration and Shop Remodel,  Region of Nanaimo-Church Road Transfer Station expansion and upgrade.
