Rainier Corridor Trail
City of Issaquah, WA

KPG provided the design and construction of a 12-ft wide shared-use pathway using  concrete and brick pavers constructed along 5,000 lf of vacated railroad right-of-way. The project includes segments in front of City Hall, the trailhead facility, and the community center. Issues involved in the design of this project included the protection of abutting single-family residential property, trail user safety, ADA accessibility, protection of adjacent wetlands and creek, and locating trail access point to the area neighborhoods and school.
