BACK / AIR TRAFFIC CONTROL TOWER HVAC UPGRADES
KPG provided building assessment and architectural design services for replacement of heating, cooling and ventilation systems in FAA Air Traffic Control Tower and tower base building at King County International Airport. Work included coordination of architectural, mechanical, electrical and structural engineering necessary to replace HVAC systems throughout the facility. KPG worked with the owner, the FAA and the design team to develop strategies for phased construction and provision of temporary HVAC service to allow the work to proceed without disruption to ongoing Control Tower operations.
