BACK / PEANUT'S PARK MASTER PLAN
KPG developed a master plan to guide future design efforts for the downtown park, as part of an overall vision for Pasco’s Downtown revitalization effort. This one-acre park is the key public open space/plaza. It currently has tired infrastructure, limited flexibly for programming, and needs to be more inviting and comfortable. The design of the park includes updating the Farmer’s Market Pavilions, a new restroom, splash pad, utilities, plantings and hardscape areas, furnishings, lighting, electrical and other features. A planning level cost estimate was developed to help provide a project budget and phasing approach. Studio KPG facilitated the public outreach which included manning the City booth at downtown festivals, meeting with stakeholders, and presenting to Council.
